“The Bonpas Signature - Red Grenache grapes and rounded stones forge the Bonpas identity. Together, they lend the wines ideal tannic balance.
The Bonpas style is linked to the age of the vines that are cultivated and selected by our partner growers. Grenache is a varietal that balances itself out over time. The older the vine, the better balanced the bunch load is.
This is why we prefer to work with grapes grown on vines that are at least 25 years old to ensure our cuvées boast well-integrated tannins and a wealth of aromas and flavours. Our signature touch is the expression of the grape variety associated with carefully selected terroirs.” – Jean-Luc Durand, Bonpas Winecrafter
