In less than 20 years, Woody Nook produces boutique wines that have received more than 300 awards in Australia, as well as in Hong Kong, the USA and the United Kingdom.

Started in the early 70s, founders Jeff and Wynn Gallagher took the arduous task of preparing the land that they bought. In 1982, the first cuttings were planted, and by 1987, the first crush took place.

Half of the 17 hectares of vines in Woody Nook are the original vineyard with non-irrigated and handpicked vines that include Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz, Merlot, Sauvignon Blanc, Chenin Blanc, Chardonnay, Semillon and Cabernet Franc, resulting in full fruit flavours and distinctive varietal characteristics.
