The Rutini family winemaking tradition began in the early 19th century in Le Marche, Italy. It then gradually became a household name in Argentina after planting its first vineyard in Tupungato, Uco Valley since 1925.
The winery focused on making premium wines by its long tradition of production, together with its constant evolution and innovation in wine-making.
Besides being the leading brand in the domestic market, Rutini was offered in the former LAN Airline (currently LATAM) Business Class on all their international flights. Rutini wines have helped put Argentina on the global wine market, with its superb quality wines and garnered as one of the country’s top luxury brand.
In 2015, the Decanter announced Mariano di Paola, Head Winemaker continues Felipe Rutini’s legacy and he was voted Best 30 Winemakers in the World who produced the Rutini Apartado Gran Malbec 2014, the Best Malbec in the World!
James Suckling also placed the Apartado in the 20th position of Argentina’s Top 100 in 2019 with 97 points, as well as the Top 100 Best Wines in The World by Decanter.
