Rutini Encuentro Chardonnay
Please view wine facts for the current vintage below as the vintage on the image may vary.
It is a fresh version of Chardonnay where 50% of the wine went through malolactic fermentation and the wine aged for nine months in new French oak barrels. The alcohol level is a restrained 13.5%, quite low, especially for a warm vintage such as 2012.
At the same time, the wine is citric and nutty, with freshness and minerality that impart a combination of power and elegance. Notes of vanilla, smoke, lemon custard, yellow plum, banana and bay leaf are joined by flavours of orange rind, chalk, honey, and a special bitterness balanced by sweet acidity. A classic oaked
Chardonnay.

Rutini Encuentro
Symbolizes the encounter of two winemakers: Mariano Di Paola and Paul Hobbs. Together they created this original amalgam of two winemaking philosophies: Bordeaux (France) and Argentina’s New World savoir-faire that retains the fruity aromas and flavours of the grapes.
More complex and structured, these wines start to guide consumers into the true essence of winemaking at Rutini Wines. In Argentina, encounters are part of our culture. This wine is an embodiment of brotherhood, union and friendship.
